Translational Motion Compensation (TMC) is a standard procedure in many radar applications, e.g., a passive radar detection or formation of an Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) images. One of the key challenges in TMC is an estimation of the target instantaneous bistatic range which enables the ISAR images formation. In the case of the complex target motions, this task becomes more difficult. In this paper, we employ the novel autoregressive method in the range alignment process to fill the data gaps, and we use it to compensate the range cells' shifts in consecutive range profiles to improve the ISAR images quality. |
