Popis:	Descriptions and a key are given for the known species. Psittacomenopon gulielmi (type-host: Poiccphalus gulielmi massaicus ) is described as new. New synonymies include Psittacomenopon heterocephalum (Nitzsch) (= Menopon acuticeps Piaget) and P. impar (Piaget) (= Colpocephalum pachypus Piaget, Menopon impar var. poicephalus Bedford, and P. africapon Eichler).
