Popis:	Doppler ultrasound and supraorbital photoplethysmography were used to screen 79 patients undergoing 87 carotid endarterectomies in the perioperative period. Supraorbital photoplethysmography permitted continual monitoring of ophthalmic artery flow dynamics throughout the operation on 14 patients.
