Levels of inorganic nutrients in Ranunculus penicillatus var. Calcareus in relation to water chemistry

Popis:	Samples of the aquatic plant Ranunculus penicillatus var. calcareus (R.W. Butcher) C.D.K. Cook were collected and analysed from eight sites. The sites were chosen because of their differing nutrient levels and chemical composition of the water. Phosphorus and sodium content of the plants showed correlation with the water chemistry at only one of the eight sites, the River Lee, where the levels in the water were highest.
