Popis: | 18 year old college student presented with incessant narrow complex tachycardia masquerading as AVNRT (short VA interval). The tachycardia did not respond to ablation of the AV node slow pathway and there was evidence of intermittent AV dissociation. EP study showed features consistent with an upper septal fascicular VT. Successful ablation was achieved in a corresponding anatomic site over the basal septum below the aortic valve where a Purkinje like potential was recorded. |
