Popis:	Disc repair appears to have a biologic basis in Wilkes’ stage II internal joint derangements. With proper patient selection and good surgical technique to stabilize the disc back to a normal relationship to the condyle, the long-term success is around 90%. Magnetic resonance imaging is the technique of choice for follow-up evaluation. Well-controlled studies are still needed to verify results.
