Popis: | Objective: This study was undertaken to study the effect of MR imaging on patients with elderly chronic alcoholic toxic encephalopathy. Methods: 20 patients with chronic alcoholic toxic encephalopathy (CATE) and 18 patients cerebral infarction diagnosed were collected to analyze conventional imaging material and spectral spectrum line shape variation peak by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Results: Cerebral and cerebellar vermis atrophy and abnormal signal in the deep part of the cerebral hemispheres, basal ganglia, pons asymmetric small pieces long T1 and long T2 were detected in CATE patients. And 1H-MRS also showed that the concentrations of NAA and Cho in cerebellar vermis were significantly reduced. In cerebral infarction patients declined NAA and elevated Lac were found. Conclusion: Our study suggests that 1H-MRS play a positive role in CATE diagnosis, which keeps from further damage to the brain tissue. |
