Popis:	A concise linear synthesis of 5′-epi synargentolide-B has been accomplished with i) catalytic asymmetric transfer hydrogenation for the genesis of chirality, ii) regioselective Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation iii) a vinylogous Mukaiyama aldol reaction to ensure 5,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-one reactions as pivotal steps.
