Hydrogenation of o-dodecylphenol on nickel-chromium catalyst under hydrogen pressure

Popis: This paper reports on a study of the liquid-phase hydrogenation of o-dodecylphenol (DDP) under hydrogen pressure. The influence of the hydrogen pressure on the indices of DDP hydrogenation were investigated. It is found that when the hydrogen pressure is raised to 5 MPa it becomes possible to increase feedstock conversion, the yield of the desired product, and to carry out the process at a high space velocity of the liquid alkylphenol with a consequent increase in productivity of the catalyst.
