Popis:	Local area networks (LANs) such as Ethernet provide cheap, high-speed communications. Here we present a new high-speed local area network model in which the LAN is configured with node-processors which halt and/or recover asynchronously. We also propose an algorithm for dealing with the problem of information-updating with a proof of the correctness of the algorithm.
