Popis: | More than one billion people do not have access to electricity and other basic needs. Smart Integrated Renewable Energy System (SIRES) was proposed to energize remote rural areas in a sustainable manner. It utilizes several renewable energy sources, conversion technologies, and end-use technologies to provide various energy and other needs. Since it constitutes a variety of system components, it is crucial to investigate Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) related to the components. In this paper, an approach for reliability assessment using hierarchical Markov models is proposed for SIRES. A review of possible component failures is also presented. |
