Properties of trans-polypiperylene in solutions

Popis: Osmometry and viscometry were used to study properties of trans -polypiperylene solutions. Intrinsic viscosity values compared with MW and second virial coefficients and a study of the dependence of these characteristics on temperature prove that macromolecules of trans -polypiperylene form an organized structure in solution. Coefficients of the Mark-Kuhn-Houwink equation were determined under conditions of broken-down structure for a trans -polypiperylene ( M = 1 × 10 5 –4 × 10 5 ) - toluene system at 25° and with an average gradient of shear velocity of 3000 sec −1 .
