We have developed a procedure for constructing simulated clusters which are constrained to have constant H-B dimensions and which may have strict geometric similarity. We were able to show that the H-B dimension of these “random” clusters could be determined from plots of the number of primary particles as a function of the radius of gyration. The slope was equal to the H-B dimension. It was shown that the dimensionality (slope) depends on the fine structure and is weakly influenced by the morphology. |
