Popis: This is the second presentation of a surgical instrument designed for manual application of Kirschner wires. Its construction resembles that of a micro-screwdriver. A strong cannulated handle is easily controlled and supported by the palm. A coaxial bearing attaches a chuck that can hold wires up to 1.2 mm with a lag screw. This device allows manual drilling and manipulation of Kirschner wires without gross sideward movements that could destroy the fragments.
