Popis:	The paper presents results of study of medial head of gastrocnemius muscle morphological parameters applying ultrasonography. The tests were performed on 6 probants on dominant limb. Basing on the ultrasound scans dataset the following parameters were measured: pennation angle, fiber bundles length, mean echo intensity inversely proportional to the muscle density, muscle thickness, anatomical and physiological cross-sectional area. The parameters were measured in 3 various ankle positions (95\(^{\circ }\), 110\(^{\circ }\), 130\(^{\circ }\)), on 3 scans recorded in various locations (proximal, central and distal). The results of study were analysed in order to check the influence of ankle positions and scan position.
