Popis: | This paper presents the implementation of remote antenna unit (RAU) and outdoor/indoor Unit (ODU/IDU) for multi-service radio-over-fiber (RoF) System. The development work involves selection of frequency band, defining the RoF system specification, link budget analysis, RAU and ODU/IDU transceiver design and measurement of the complete downlink and uplink transmission system. Band 5 LTE FDD signal source was used to carry high-definition video for the downlink and uplink transmission which propagates at LMCS frequency band. Experimental results showed that the video transmission was able to achieve an EVM as low as 3.72 % for a 1080p video sample. |
