Popis: Osteosarcomas represent a heterogeneous group of tumours with different histological and clinical features, biological behaviour and therapy. Histological grading has remained the most important factor for predicting the clinical progression of osteosarcomas. Some of the most common diagnostic problems in surgical pathology related to low-grade osteogenic sarcoma are addressed. Osteogenic sarcomas and chondrosarcomas arising in surface osseous locations represent a difficult diagnostic problem and are addressed briefly in this article.
