Popis: Currently, there can be observed an increasing interest in using natural materials both in regenerative medicine and drug delivery systems. A broad scope of applications in this aspect is mainly offered by a family of collagen protein and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) (Parenteau-Bareil et al. [1], Canty and Kadler [2]). A great interest in raw materials is linked to the need of obtaining a safe product biocompatible with body tissues (Czubak and Żbikowska [3]). Despite numerous scientific studies conducted on collagen proteins and GAGs, there is still a constant search for new solutions, which would enable the development of new products with desired physiochemical and pharmacological properties.
