Popis: High sensitive materials are always in demand for usage in smart devices. To achieve this nanomaterials becomes a back bone from last decade. In this sense we synthesized Zn doped TiO2 (2-10 at. Wt %) nanoparticles from one step peptization method with particle size vary between 27nm – 57.5nm confirmed by Scherrer formula. Tetragonal rutile structure was confirmed by XRD and surface morphology with particles tending towards spherical nature was confirmed by SEM. Dopant compositional Analysis was confirmed by EDAX and UV-Visible shows absorption at visible region around 450nm. From tauc plot confirms band gap varies from 3.01eV to 2.96eV due to increase in particle size with increase in dopant concentration. Thick film of these prepared from scrubbing method shows increase in sensitivity determined by ΔR with increase in ethanol concentration. Extended observation with increase in temperature from room temperature to 300°C which shows optimum operating temperature is at 150°C.
