Popis: Summary Drill sites belong to hazardous industrial facilities that require increased attention. In the Arctic and Far North regions drill sites are usually located at considerable distances from industrial centers, emergency response teams (ERTs) and fire houses, in summer they may not have any approaches, and in winter transport communication is ensured only via winter roads and by aircraft transport. When drilling wells significant stock of fuel and lubricants is required to ensure autonomous operation of power-generating equipment. For these purposes various vessel equipment is used including soft (flexible) tanks. When designing these facilities engineering solutions aimed at prevention of accidents and incidents must be sufficient, and equipment with high operation reliability must be selected. The article classifies loads and actions that occur during tank operation. Study of deformation and strength properties of tank material as a tool for determination of equipment reliability including reliability at low temperature is carried out. An approach to assessment of safe remaining operation life of tanks is proposed. Comparative calculation of thermal radiation intensity values as a result of fire on tanks at various ambient temperatures is carried out. It is determined that air temperature impacts on range of damage effect active zone in case of accident.
