On the criteria for superconductivity in PrBa2Cu3O6.6

Popis:	The structure of RBa2Cu3Ox is analyzed to ascertain the reason for the absence of superconductivity in PrBa2Cu3O7 or for its presence in PrBa2Cu3O6.6. An empirical formula with a single adjustable parameter is proposed which describes the temperature dependence of the resistance at different pressures. The character of the temperature variation of the superconducting transition temperature at pressures higher than those attained experimentally is predicted.
