This study is attempts to develop interactive visual-tactile content that uses eye-gaze movement to present vibrotactile feedback (VTF) on text. Since text is independent of time, reading speed varies depending on the individual reader. Therefore the timing of VTF must be considered when designing interactive content. Assuming that timing is affected by reading speed, we administered a survey to determine the preferred timing of VTF for each subject. The survey results indicate that there is a relationship between timing and reading speed. |
