Popis: | Peer-to-Peer (P2P) File Sharing application is considered as one of global bandwidth consumer. By localizing the traffic, Internet service provider (ISP) will reduce the bandwidth burden in the feeder fiber that we can save more time and bandwidth. Passive optical network (PON) is regarded as one of the best future access network technologies to give a better environment for P2P applications. In this paper, we propose the P2P intra-traffic file sharing architecture in TWDM PON with software-defined network (SDN) system to reduce inter and intra traffic in the PON and ISPs and also improve the quality of service (QoS). By implementing SDN with OpenFlow protocol, we separate the control plane and data plane which allows ISP to have a flexible and centralized control of the P2P intra-traffic. At last, simulation results show that our proposed architecture can improve the QoS in terms of the packet delay and drop percentage for different traffics. |
