Popis: | Three monazites MIILaTh(PO4)3 (MII = Ca, Sr, Cd) have been studied both computationally and experimentally to determine the influence of the MII cation nature on monazite crystal structure and characteristics important for their use as matrix forms for immobilizing radioactive waste. Their crystal structures have been refined by the Rietveld method. Functional composition has been confirmed by IR spectroscopy. Thermal stability has been tested by DTA-TG. |
