Popis: | We have carried out a theoretical and experimental investigation of mass transfer to a cylinder in a Hele-Shaw cell for forced convection. The results obtained are compared with analogous experiments in a granular bed carried out earlier. We have demonstrated the analogy between the processes of convective heat and mass transfer in a porous medium and a Hele-Shaw cell for large Peclet numbers |
