Popis:	The archaeological levels of the stratigraphic unit II were studied in the ‘Caune de l'Arago’ (Eastern Pyrenees, France). We found an intermediate layer I/J, between the archaeological levels I and J. This intermediate level I/J contains hones of a Deninger hear, dated at about 500 000 years.
