Popis:	A silver-mediated cascade trifluoromethylthiolation and cyclization has been developed for the synthesis of 2-(trifluoromethylthio)-indenones. A variety of arylpropynones underwent this radical oxidative cyclization with AgSCF3 to afford trifluoromethylthiolated indenones in moderate to excellent yields.
