Popis: | Curriculum development is one of the most important roles of the nurse educator. Developing and maintaining a nursing curriculum that is contemporary and effectively prepares the nursing student to achieve the program's end-of-program student learning outcomes is essential for graduation. An effective curriculum assists the students in preparing for the licensure examination as well as their nursing career. Standard 4 Curriculum of the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) Standards and Criteria can assist nursing faculty in the development and maintenance of the curriculum. The purpose of this article is to provide the reader with information about the relationship between accreditation standards and the curriculum. |
