Popis: | In this letter we present experimental results showing the presence of narrow peaks in the random laser emission caused by stimulated Raman scattering of the laser dye molecules. In order to verify that the narrow peaks were due to Raman scattering we have compared the positions of all random laser peaks with those of the spontaneous Raman spectra of the dyes. The experiments were carried out with some dyes of the rhodamine family, and we have shown that only Raman frequencies that overlap the random laser emissions of the dyes appear in the spectra. |
