The purpose of this final qualification work is to Study of breaking capacity of a 10 kV-40 kA/3150 A vacuum circuit breaker with an axial magnetic field A with an axial magnetic field. The research method is the simulation of the electromagnetic field created between the contacts of the arcing device of a vacuum circuit breaker during the process of breaking the short circuit current in the COMSOL Multiphysics software environment. This work is devoted to the study of vacuum arc chutes and the analysis of the breaking capacity for various variations of the contact geometry. Tasks that were solved in the course of the study:1. Study of vacuum circuit breakers and arc extinguishing method in vacuum arc chutes: with axial and radial magnetic field2. Analysis of the interaction of the vacuum circuit breaker with the network, in particular, the analysis of the nominal parameters and the transient recovery voltage during a short circuit3. Construction and description of a mathematical model of electromagnetic processes in a vacuum circuit breaker4. Carrying out calculations of models of electromagnetic processes in a vacuum arc chute to compare the effect of different contact geometry options on the arc extinguishing process. |
