Popis: 1. 1. Neural correlates of electrically evoked mating calling in the isolated frog brainstem, when quantitated, showed striking similarities to patterns of calling in intact anurans. 2. 2. Alterations in the quantitated patterns of neural correlates following temperature changes were similar to alterations in the calling patterns of intact anurans. 3. 3. The results of temperature studies of mating calling of the isolated frog brainstem supported the hypothesis that the major effects of temperature upon calls is confined to centers in the central nervous system.
