Popis: | The magnetization of MCl 2 -GIC (MNi and Co) has been investigated in high magnetic fields up to 10 Tesla at 4.2K. NiCl 2 -GIC showed very weak magnetic anisotropy, but CoCl 2 -GIC showed very strong anisotrophy with magnetization in the c-plane. The atomic moments of these compounds are obtained from the saturation magnetization, and their magnetic properties are compared with pristine compounds. |
