Popis: | This paper describes learning in new forms of mathematical activity that involve multiple, moving bodies. It reports on initial findings from interviews with participants from various disciplines, who were asked to find and make sense of emergent mathematics in performances from the opening ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Findings from these interviews will inform future design studies of experimental mathematics teaching and learning. |
