Popis: | The Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging paradigm that seamlessly integrates smart devices, sensor nodes, network gateways, actuators, radio frequency identification and merges various technologies such as pervasive computing, sensing techniques, embedded devices and ubiquitous computing in order to form an intelligent systems. The smart objects within the IoT environment not only gather information from physical world but also exchanges information through the Internet to develop a common operating framework. The data and information obtained from huge number of interconnected devices create services that bring tangible benefits to individual citizens and society. This paper presents the architectural elements and key features of IoT. In addition to identifying various challenges and application areas, we focus on future scope and open issues for world wide implementation of Internet of Things. |
