Popis: | Mass-exchange equipment for preliminary purification of alkaline polyethyl is inefficient due to a by-pass flow. Restrictive discs were fitted onto the common shaft, and the influence of the discs on the hydrodynamic structure of the flow was studied by means of curves showing the response of an object to a pulsed disturbance, the results analyzed on the basis of a recirculation model (cell model with reverse flows). It was found that the relations of recirculation coefficients were inversely proportional to a main flow linear velocity and agitation intensity, indicating that the restrictive discs did decrease the reverse flow. The results were used to design industrial equipment for the production of polyethyls. |
