espanolEl conjunto de las Universidades Interculturales ha sido objeto de numerosos analisis y evaluaciones. El presente ensayo trata de ofrecer un angulo diferente. Procura comprender la idea de interculturalidad que generan y ponen en ejercicio alumnos y docentes de diversas Universidades Interculturales independientemente de las visiones expresadas en sus respectivos documentos rectores. Es, en este sentido, un estudio mas bien antropologico. Para ello se recurrio a entrevistas semi- estructuradas con docentes de diversas universidades interculturales y a dialogos con grupos de estudiantes en los cuales podian expresar sus puntos de vista con mayor libertad y espontaneidad que en entrevistas individuales, complementadas con observaciones en los centros de estudio. Aunque la presente discusion se centra en universidades interculturales, su alcance aspira ser mas amplio, al tratar de entender el proceso de implementacion de la interculturalidad en instituciones de educacion superior, para lo cual las universidades interculturales constituyen casos privilegiados. EnglishThe set of Intercultural Universities has been the subject of numerous analyzes and evaluations. This essay tries to offer a different approach. It tries to understand the idea of interculturality that can be developed and put into practice by students and teachers from different Intercultural Universities, regardless of the visions expressed in their guiding documents. It is, in this sense, a rather anthropological study. For this, we used semi-structured interviews with teachers from various intercultural universities and dialogues with groups of students, where they were able to express their point of view with greater freedom and spontaneity than in individual interviews, complemented with observations in the study centers. Although the present discussion focuses on intercultural universities, its scope aims to be broader, given that it tries to understand the process of intercultural implementation in higher education institutions, for which intercultural universities privileged cases. |
