Popis: | We demonstrate the fabrication of a hybrid MnO2/CNT/Ta nanocomposite sensor for the detection of H2O2 in milk. A novel two-step deposition using electron beam evaporation and spray deposition was adopted for fabrication of the nanocomposite. The structural analysis confirmed the presence of preferential (002) plane of carbon and (110) plane of α-MnO2. SEM images revealed the presence of highly porous α-MnO2 nanoclusters anchored on the walls of high purity CNTs. Compared with the bare CNTs, the MnO2/CNT/Ta nanocomposite provided a much better cycling performance and fast amperometric response ( 98% when tested in milk. The robust electrode material is promising for the development of highly sensitive electrochemical sensors for the detection of H2O2 in other food samples. |
