Popis:	A method of percutaneous transcricothyroid membrane selective bronchography is described which is accurate, simple and safe, affording minimal discomfort to the patient. Except for a few cases of minimal subcutaneous emphysema, there have been no complications in the last 120 examinations performed.It is anticipated that the greater use of this method of selective bronchography will increase the diagnostic accuracy not only for neoplastic diseases but for other diseases as well.The possibility of the therapeutic value of selective bronchial infusions with medication is suggested.Subsegmental wedge bronchography with magnification techniques for further investigation of pulmonary disease in vivo is anticipated.
