The object of research is an autotransformer with a capacity of 333 MVA.The following calculations were made: the steady state operation of the system, short-circuit currents in an analytical way and using the RastrWin software package.Calculations of the main and backup protections of the autotransformer are carried out. The settings for current, differential and distance protections of the autotransformer are determined. The sensitivity of the main and backup protections of the protected autotransformer was tested.A check was made to meet the requirements for current transformers in differential protection circuits made on the basis of microprocessor devices manufactured by SIEMENS: the powers of the secondary windings were calculated, the current transformers were checked according to the condition of permissible error at the maximum short-circuit current, and the current transformer was calculated by time to saturation. |
