Popis:	The sodium heptamolybdate compound (1) was crystallized at pH ∼6.9 from an acidified sodium molybdate solution. X-ray structural analysis shows a novel empirical formula of Na7[Mo7O24]OH·21H2O for this compound in which a complex network of ion–dipole interactions and hydrogen bonds were found to stabilize the crystal structure.
