A Methodological Proposal to Foster the Development of Team Work Mediated by ICT in the Subject Software Engineering

| Popis: | The purpose of this study is to show some experiences in the methodological development of Software Engineering professors at the University of Informatics Sciences by designing a set of group-work methodological and didactic actions, so that professors encourage their students to develop team work and collaborative learning with the help of ICT. The research methods employed were: analysis and synthesis, the systemic approach, the documentary analysis, interviews and scientific observations. A methodological procedure was developed based on the diagnostic analysis of the subject, taking into account the deficiencies from the previous course included in the reports. In this sense the development of teamwork and collaborative learning, using the means offered by ICT was included as a leading objective of the methodological work for the subject. The proposal was validated from the results gathered in the group interviews to professors who applied the set of actions, class observation guides, and the collaborative work developed in the virtual learning environment, as well as interviews to students to know their opinions about their professors performance. The design, development, and control of the actions integrating the methodological work contributed to the fulfillment of the research objective. |
