Popis: The heat of fusion, heat of transition, specific heat, molecular refraction calculated by means of the Lorentz-Lorenz equation, boiling point under reduced pressure, heat of evaporation and viscosity are given for a number of normal and branched alkanes and a cyclane, all having more than 20 carbon atoms. The crystallographic properties of n-heneicosane and n-tetracosane at different temperatures are discussed.
