Popis:	Octandrenolone and five novel related dimethylpyran acetophenones have been isolated from the chloroform extract of roots of Melicope erromangensis and identified by spectroscopic studies and chemical correlations as O-methyloctandrenolone, (+)-trans-3‴,4‴-dihydro-3‴,4‴-dihydroxy-O-methyloctandrenolone, (+)-trans- 3″,4″-dihydro-3″,4″-dihydroxy-O-methyloctandrenolone, and trans-3″,4″-dihydro-3″,4″-dihydroxyoctandrenolone. In addition, four known quinolines and three known flavones have been isolated.
