Recent development of a UV Raman microscope explosive detection system for near trace detection

Popis: Alakai Defense Systems will present improvements and data from its DUV Raman system. Specifically, this is an Ultraviolet (UV) Raman microscope for the rapid scanning of fingerprints for the detection of trace explosives. Since this sensor operates in the UV spectrum, it can rapidly scan an area mapping out the results in minutes versus tens of minutes to hours for Near-infrared (NIR) systems. A short description of the instrument and performance is presented.
