Popis: | Electrohydridynamic Oberbeck convection of a couple stress fluid bonded between two isothermal boundaries in the presence of an external constraint of applied electric field is investigated analytically and numerically. An induced electric field is also produced due to the temperature difference, which intern produces an additional body force. Analytical solution for velocity and temperature is obtained using the perturbation technique and the numerical solution through the finite difference technique. The effect of flow and thermal parameters on velocity and temperature are studied and presented graphically. It is observed that the fluid velocity is augmented by the increase in x0, α, W, suppresses by the increase in N and λ, and flow reversal by varying Re. The temperature is augmented by increase in W, N, Re, and suppressed by the increases in λ, α, x0. |
