Recently, the ultrasonic welding of plastics have mainly used in the industrial world. However, according to the progress of technique, high functional plastics (as it is called engineering plastics) which are inable to be welded completely by the welding method used the conventional longitudinal vibration mode, have been developed. So, we have suggested the welding method applied the tortional vibration mode instead of the longitudinal vibration mode. In this paper, we report the results of measurement on the characteristics of a tortional vibrator. |
