Use of antibacterial drugs Ziprovet-Pulmo and Streppen LA in streptococcosis of piglets

| Popis: | The article presents the research results on the use of antibacterial drugs Ciprovet-pulmo and Streppen LA in Piglet streptococcosis. The experiment was conducted on piglets of a large white breed of the rearing group (aged 41 days) with clinical signs of streptococcosis. The diagnosis of associative streptococcosis was made comprehensively - based on epizootological data, clinical signs of the disease, pathoanatomic changes and laboratory studies of pigs pathological material (liver, spleen, lymph nodes, kidneys, heart, lungs) using bacteriological method (isolation of the streptococcosis pathogen isolate Streptococcus suis). Inclusion in the treatment regimen of piglets of the first group of antibacterial drugs Ciprovet-pulmo and Streppen LA, contributed to the achievement of the maximum therapeutic effect on the 5th day (96 %). In the second group, where Amoxicillin-800 and Amoxisan were used, the maximum therapeutic effect (86 %) occurred on the 6th day. |
