Popis: | In a busy modern society, parking has been a common problem in daily life. It is not unusual to spend a lot of time and fuel consumption to find empty parking spaces. We proposed an architecture which consists of software and hardware to serve as a parking guidance system. The hardware contains a variety of IOT sensors such as proximity sensors, magnetic field sensors, LED displays and wireless communication devices. In the software architecture, we develop algorithms and strategies to control the on and off of all sensor devices. An intense simulation has been exercised on a demo parking space to analyze the efficiency of different guiding strategies. A novel dynamic assignment strategy is proposed and proved efficient in reducing the on route time subject to a random car flow and parking space utilization conditions. |
