| Popis: | In this paper we elaborate on the Network as a Service (NaaS) paradigm and give an overview of recent trends on network openness. To facilitate the adoption of the NaaS approach, we propose a generic framework that enables and personalizes network openness to trusted third parties so that they can access and use various Network Services (such as networking context acquisition, connectivity with a given quality of service, security with authentication/ciphering and isolation assurance), in an appropriate manner. Several use cases illustrating the requirements of Mobile-Cloud Networking and its applications in terms of end-to-end Enriched Connectivity are given. Likewise, a functional mapping of the proposed framework on the Evolved Packet System (EPS) architecture is presented with an open well-defined Application Programming Interface (API) to handle this Enriched Connectivity. |
