Popis:	The influence of additives on the electrochemical oxidation of polyacetylene in acetonitrile and dichloromethane has been evaluated. Of the ten tested substances only bithiophene showed a significant positive effect. It is believed that this is due to prevention of overoxidation (overdoping).
